Be Updated

The day of the race is fast approaching and time is running out to make a pledge for your triathlete and to benefit Pastor Isaac and his growing family. Since Krista and I are not in direct contact with Pastor Isaac we get our updates from other reliable sources. Our previous blogs direct you to a tangle video, where you can see and hear Pastor Isaac and the orphan's story about their life in Haiti, a website telling more about how their situation came to be and the conditions they live in every day and now we are bringing you a blog by Ken Gross. Ken Gross is a member of Fellowship of Faith, a Lutheran church in the northwestern Chicago area where Krista and her family are also members. Ken keeps an updated blog on not just Pastor Isaac and his orphanage but of other Haitian Pastors and current missions. Remember, 32 Mile Match Up is an independent fundraiser and there are other support groups for missions in Haiti but if you want to pledge for the 32 Mile Match Up you must go through Krista and I and send your pledges to 32milematchup@gmail.com. If you are looking for Pastor Isaac's current status and how the whole family is doing become a follower of Ken's blog at: http://haiti144.blogspot.com/

Ken does blog about other missions and Haitian Pastors but there are lots of posts and pictures featuring Pastor Isaac. Check them all out for a better understanding of the small country that is Haiti and of the people who call it home.

Feel free to post questions and comments on our blog. What would you like to see? What would you, the pledger, like to know about Pastor Isaac and Haitian children? Let us know and if we don't have the answer we'll do our best to find it and blog it!

To Give a Visual

Well the big day is a little over 2 weeks away and the adrenaline is pumping. Just to keep you up to date on the triathlete's training and the purpose of this competition we've created a short video. I doubt any of you will be traveling to Haiti to meet Pastor Isaac and his family and see their faces when they receive your generous offerings nor will you be able to make it up to Fontana, WI to cheer on your triathlete. This video is just another way of showing you, the pledger, what this competition is for, where your money is going and to get pumped for your competitor. So sit back and soak it up because we need your encouragement to make it the 32 miles and Haiti needs your will to give.
